Is there a minimum delivery?
Yes, at Glen Fuels our minimum delivery is €200.
Is the quoted price inclusive of VAT?
All quotations are inclusive of VAT.
How do I order oil online?
Simply click on the Glen Fuels “order” button on the navigation bar at the top of the website. You will need a valid Debit or Credit Card to complete your order.
How do I pay for my delivery?
We accept Debit Card and Credit Card payments. If you are a Budget Plan customer, your payment will be called automatically on either the 5th or the 20th of the month.
Is paying online a secure option?
Glen Fuel Services uses Realex Payments technology for all online credit or debit card payments. Using state of the art technology, we ensure the security and confidentiality of your credit or debit card details at all times.
How soon will my oil be delivered?
A delivery is usually made within 1-2 working days of an order being placed. During busy times or in poor weather conditions, our delivery times may be affected.
Will Glen Fuels contact me before delivering my oil?
If you would like to be contacted before your oil is delivered, please let your Depot know.
Do I need to be at home for a delivery to be made?
If our driver has access to your oil tank and if your oil tank is not locked, you do not need to be at home when receiving a delivery.
How will I know there has been a delivery of oil?
The driver will leave a delivery docket in your letter box when he has completed the delivery.
How do I know what type of heating oil to order?
There may already be a sticker on your burner that tells you what you require. If you have an old delivery docket, this will tell you what you have previously ordered. Kerosene (Domestic Oil) is red in colour and is usually used in newer domestic burners. Marked Gas Oil (Home Heat) is green in colour and is normally used in older domestic burners and larger industrial burners. If you are still unsure, our driver will be able to tell you what you require.
How much oil should I order?
Our drivers will delivery only what your burner can safely hold. If the quantity of oil delivered is less than your order, Glen Fuels will refund the difference to your Debit or Credit card. The unit price may vary in this instance.
My tank is filled through a “fill pipe”. What does this mean?
Our drivers can deliver your oil via a fill pipe. For safety reasons, Glen Fuels requires that you are present at the time of the delivery. You will be required to confirm to the driver that the fill pipe is securely connected to your tank and that your tank will hold the quanity of oil you have ordered.
