2018 Chamber Awards Shortlist

We crossed the first hurdle, which was to secure a nomination. We crossed the second hurdle, which was to be shortlisted. This Friday, Glen Fuels hopes to cross the third and final hurdle and take home a win in the 2018 Arklow & District Chamber Ball & Awards.

Three nominees have been chosen in each category and Glen Fuels has been shortlisted in the category Best Business for Customer Service Award.

Recognising Achievement:

The awards recognize the achievements of local people and businesses across four categories.

Rising Star Award, sponsored by Harmony Timber Solutions.

The 2018 “Person of the Year Award” will be presented on the night to well-known Arklow athlete and hero,  Mary Hickey who completed the Lap of the map in aid of the RNLI. This award kindly sponsored by Servier Ireland Industries, is in recognition of Mary, who through her amazing achievement, has made an outstanding contribution to the town and is a wonderful Ambassador for Arklow.

A Great Night Out:

The Ball will take place at the Arklow Bay Hotel on Friday, September 14th, and both members and non-members are welcome to attend. The evening will commence with a drinks reception at 7.00pm with dinner served at 8.00pm followed by the presentation of the awards.
