Wexford Strawberry Roots Festival

Setting summer in motion, the annual Strawberry Roots Festival takes place in Enniscorthy this June Bank holiday weekend. It's the 2nd longest running festival in Ireland (pipped to the post by the Rose of Tralee).

Festivities start this evening at 7.30 in The Market Square.

If you fancy indulging in all things yummy and strawberry this long weekend, Enniscorthy is a 90 minute drive from South Dublin and a 60 minute drive from Kilkenny and Waterford Cities.
