Budget Plan
Glen Fuel Services Ltd. has devised an interest-free payment facility for all home heating customers. This means you can purchase a full tank of oil each time you order and spread the cost over the year.
What is the Glen Fuels Budget Plan?
The Glen Fuels Budget Plan operates on a direct debit system, which is called on either the 5th or 20th of each month – whichever best suits you. Our Budget Plan operates from 1st August to 31st July. In order to avail of this facility, your account must be cleared completely by 31st July each year.
What happens with my first order?
Glen Fuels will calculate how much you spend on home heating oil in a year and divide that sum by 12. We ask for a €250 deposit and a maximum order of 500 litres on your first delivery. All deliveries thereafter will be covered by the terms of the Budget Plan. We require two full payments before a second delivery of 500 litres can be made.
How much do I pay each month?
Glen Fuels recommends a monthly payment of €120. This may be increased or decreased depending on your fuel requirements. This amount will also be affected by the market price of oil. If your monthly payment needs to be adjusted, Glen Fuels will advise you of this in writing in advance.
Date of payment
Your account will be called on the 5th or 20th day of each month – you choose the date that best suits your household budget.
Statements
You will receive a quarterly e-statement that allows you to monitor your outstanding balance. Please do make sure to include your email address when completing the Glen Fuels Budget Plan application form.
Do I need to clear my balance?
Any debit balance on your Budget Plan must be fully cleared by 31st July each year. Any credit balance will be refunded to you, upon your request. Your Budget Plan will automatically continue into August, the next heating oil year, unless previously agreed with Glen Fuels.
Can I cancel my Budget Plan?
You may cancel your Budget Plan by first of all clearing your debit balance with Glen Fuels and then cancelling the direct debit by writing to your bank.

How do I become a Budget Plan customer?
Complete in full the Budget Plan Direct Debit application form and post it to Glen Fuel Services Ltd., Kilmacanogue, Bray, Co. Wicklow.
