National Enterprise Town Awards Competition
Arklow Town has been shortlisted in two categories in the 2018 Bank of Ireland National Enterprising Town Awards Competition:
- Population greater that 10,000
- The Rising Star
On Tuesday the 25th of September, three independent judges will visit Arklow (9am – 12pm), where we have an opportunity to showcase Arklow as a unique desination to Visit, Work and Live.
Glen Fuels is delighted to be a business operating in Arklow Town and delivering energy for everything to other business owners and homes throughout the greater Arklow area.
Big Prize Fund:
The competition promotes enterprise by bringing business and community groups together, in towns and villages across Ireland, to showcase the spirit of enterprise in their local area. (Source: ThinkBusiness.ie)
This year 90 towns and villages will be judged (click for full list) and one will win a prize fund of €157,000, and the winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony taking place at The Lyrath Hotel, Kilkenny on November 28, 2018.
