Glen Fuels Enniscorthy

As the Glen Fuels staff go about their deliveries, they routinely cross paths with Ireland's landmarks.

Vinegar Hill:

Driving around Enniscorthy town we have a clear view of Vinegar Hill, known for the 1798 Battle of Vinegar Hill. It's an easy walk with spectacular views on a clear day.

This picture was taken by our Enniscorthy sales manager Michael Reck from just outside Enniscorthy Castle - the cannons were fired in 1798 from the hill towards the castle.

Enniscorthy - An Important Irish Landmark:

Enniscorthy is a bustling town that grows year on year and has played a very important part in Irish history. With two hotels Riverside Park Hotel and Treacys Hotel Wexford the town is worth a visit and we recommend first visiting the National 1978 Rebellion Centre, then Vinegar Hill and finally Enniscorthy Castle.
