Easter Food Drive

When you phone our Arklow and Gorey depots, there's a good chance you'll place your order with Flo. 

Flo is very involved with Father Murphy Celtic Supporters Club in Arklow. In addition to cheering on the lads in Glasgow, this supporters' club consistently comes up trumps for the local community. 

On Holy Thursday 2022, Father Murphy C.S.C handed over the annual Easter food drive to the good folks Friends Of The Community - these volunteers do tireless work throughout the year for those less fortunate in the area.

In the spirit of Brother Walfrid, founder of Celtic Football Club, the membership once again dug deep & came up with the goods - perishable and non-perishable foods, toiletries and Easter eggs were received with much gratitude.

"A visit for us from Members of Fr. Murphy C.S.C. Frank , Fiona and Rob last night with this amazing donation of perishable and non perishable foods, toiletries and Easter eggs was received with much gratitude by us and by those who it was delivered to over the last couple of days. In these times when so much need is out there in our Community and purse strings can get stretched to the limit trying to give to all, it’s really so heartwarming that people still do these kind of food drives for groups like us. Gratitude as usual to Frank Cullen for driving this forward for us every year, we cannot thank you all enough for thinking of others at Easter. Our thanks to everyone who popped in over the week and donated, regardless the size of what you give, the fact that you give it means the world to us so we can help others.
