It has been a great year for the New Ross district - Gusserane GAA won the Senior Football title for the first time in over 40 years while St. James GAA won in the Intermediate A Hurling Championship led by All-Star Wexford Senior Hurling Captain, Mathew O'Hanlon. On the subject of GAA, remember we will be encouraging you to vote for your district stars in the fast-approaching Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards.
