Girls Rugby

Glen Fuels company directors Alan and Kevin Keyes have been involved in Greystones R. F. C at Dr Hickey Park for 40 years. Both have played for the Club, while Alan has remained active as coach, president and player recruitment officer for the senior squad. You'll see the Glen Fuels logo at the Club entrance - 2017 marks the 31st year Glen Fuels has been a sponsor of GRFC.

Jonathan Leonard, co-director of Glen Fuel's sister company, Glenergy has signed up to coach the Girls' U16. A former player with the Club, Jonathan's daughter started playing two years ago. Greystones Rugby Club alumni all say the same thing - the Club and the game foster self-confidence, life-long friendships, life skills and above all, great fun - Jonathan sees this in his own daughter.

Tomorrow, Wednesday August 30th, marks the first training session of the new season. Existing members will be returning. Those who have never played the game before are welcome to come along and have a go free of charge. All you need bring is a pair of standard runners.

Time: 18.45-20.15
Location: Greystones RFC at Dr Hickey Park
Age groups: U14, U16 and U18
Tour: the squad hopes to travel on tour to Portugal in 2018.
