However, courtesy of the freezing cold winter and spring and the long hot summer, you heating oil tank will have contracted (in the cold) and expanded (in the heat). This process may have rendered your heating oil tank brittle. Please ask yourself....

Is My Oil Tank Weeping or Leaking?

• Check the seams for any parting
• Ensure the tank is on a solid flat base
• If the tank is 10+ years, it is time to consider an upgrade
• Check that the fittings at the front of the tank are not corroded
• Do you get an odor when you walk by the tank?
