Heating Oil Tanks
Heating Oil Tank Replacement
Glen Fuels offers a range of bunded and single skin heating oil tanks to suit your home heating needs. If your tank is over 10 years old, it's time to consider replacement to avoid costly leaks and environmental damage.
Why Replace Old Tanks?
- Prevent leaks and damage because old tanks can burst or crack, causing damage to human health, buildings, and the environment
- Financial costs because oil leaks can result in hundreds of thousands of euros in damages, and insurance companies may refuse to pay out for old and weathered tanks
New Tank Recommendations
- We recommend Kingspan Titan R900, Kingspan Titan R1200 and Kingspan Titan H1100
- Unless space is limited, we recommend larger tanks (1100 or 1200 litres) for flexibility and cost savings
- Double skinned (bunded) tanks protect your property and environment from damage in the event of a crack or leak
Tank Options
- Bunded tanks are double skinned for added protection
- Check with your local council and insurer before purchasing single skin tanks
- Tanks come in a variety of shapes and sizes including low profile, horizontal, vertical, round, and rectangle tanks
